October just started and it’s already been an exciting month. On the 1st, I saw Flume. It was my second time seeing him, and he was just as incredible as the first time. He played every single one of his good songs, plus some really cool ones at the end. I didn’t have the best spot in the crowd, so my video isn’t that great, but you can tell the crowd was going off.

Also, even though it wasn’t technically October, I saw Troyboi the night before. I’ve seen him a few times, but he had never gotten as hyped with the crowd as he did this time. He’s always an awesome show if you like a good beat. Check out this awesome video I got:

Tomorrow night, I’m seeing Le Youth. I plan my concerts ahead, so actually won a VIP Meet and Greet for being one of the first people with a ticket…dope. His music is pretty upbeat, and he just released a song today, so I’m sure it will be a pretty fun concert.

On the weekend of the 14th, GTA is playing with Two Fresh. I’m honestly down to go just for Two Fresh. He’s done some of my all time favorite remixes. I haven’t bought a ticket yet, so that one’s TBD.

On October 21st, I’m planning on seeing Danny Brown. I don’t even know anyone going yet and I bought my ticket…I will go alone. He just released his album Atrocity Exhibition, and it feels like a creepy fun house. I’m really excited to see how his show goes. Plus, I haven’t seen him since 2012, so he has a ton of other new music I haven’t seen him perform live. Should be killer.

The end of the month is going to be the best. I’m going with a solid crew to Voodoo Fest in New Orleans the weekend before Halloween. Not only is Halloween my favorite holiday, but it’s the weekend before my birthday, so it’s going to be an extra special celebration. I’m stoked to be in New Orleans for Halloween because I know it’s going to get weird. This festival will deserve several of its own posts, so I’ll give more details later.

Flume kicked off my month to an amazing start, and I can’t wait to see how the rest unfolds. I’ll definitely be keeping this updated over the next few weeks, so be sure to check back!
